SHARE WIDELY. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.
With mass deportations starting today across the country, it is vitally important - for both citizens and non-citizens - to know your rights.

Indigenous actors Lily Gladstone and Kali Reis have made history with their first Primetime Emmy nominations.
Gladstone and Reis received nominations in the supporting actress in a limited series category for their roles in Hulu’s “Under the Bridge” and HBO/Max’s “True Detective: Night Country.” This recognition marks the first time Indigenous women have been nominated for acting Emmys, and they are only the second and third Indigenous actors ever to be recognized in the 76-year history of the television awards. variety.com/2024/tv/awards/l…

If anyone (us) remembers Universal Fancon it's happened again.
The founder scammed people and now vendors and department heads are dealing with the fallout
It sucks to see someone live up to the Jamie Broadnax tradition and scam small creators and artists out of their hard earned money
These people need their money back and Brittany Marriot needs to give it them #KhromaKon
@IWriteAllDay_ you wrote a very thorough piece on Universal Fancon when it happened. Can you share the tweet about Khroma Kon?

Think about the amount of talent we will lose, because streaming services refuse to pay residuals (at all, let alone fairly) and the governments apathy towards the working class to vocally and public ally support unions.
Pedro Pascal says a residual check for ‘BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER’ saved him from going homeless when he only had $7 in his bank account.
“It literally is the reason I was able to stay in acting and not give up.”

My humblest tribute to one of my greatest Professors.
Rest in peace, Master Akira Toriyama.
There are not enough words for the effect Akira Toriyama and Dragon Ball had on me. I started watching it in Spanish on VHS tapes that were recorded off of a TV in El Salvador.
I still watch those same dubs even know over 20 years later
It's one of the things that brought my siblings closer together and we've had more than one marathon of the series over the years
I remember when I was little we would play DBZ and I always made up new storylines and characters. A new thing to add to the world
