Our advice on how to address being bullied. #AntiBullyingWeek
ALT Talk to someone you trust. Your parents, friends and people at school cannot help you and put a stop to the bullying if they do not know it is happening. It can be really daunting to open up about your feelings and experiences, but it is so important that you talk about what is going on.
ALT Do not blame yourself. Nobody deserves to be bullied or mistreated by others. It is important that you do not blame yourself for what is happening to you.
ALT Focus on healthy friendships and relationships. If you are being bullied it can be really tough, and it is so important that you reach out and lean on friends that treat you well and make you feel happy.
ALT Continue to report incidents until they stop. It may take some time but keep going. Things can get better.
