To my non-catholic brothers and sisters, If someone were to ask you what book do you think introduces you to your faith, what would you recommend on theology? Alternatively what's your favorite prayer book?

The original poster is right, but the argument is more positively that a single universal rite and liturgy is more possible in the modern Latin rite and the reasons for particular dispensations for vernacular rites (French, Chinese etc) becomes less reasonable
Assuming every single Catholic worshipped like this before 1960 is a massive anachronism.

The pastor who administered my sacrament of Confirmation. Shared countless meals at our table, swam in our pool, attended every holiday gathering. I am Catholic, I will remain Catholic as I always have, but I WILL continue to advocate for change. You should too.

Why did the psych researchers doing an eeg on me ask me if I was religious. I was only contemplating the mysteries in a dark room

Part of me feels for Fr Ripperger because he is a good priest but I hold the opinion that exorcists should be unknown unless needed

I am so attracted to aesthetic that it's only fair that my soul is constantly yearning for a religious order who literally has no color and is simple

Many of us are converted after a life of sin, even terrible sin. Paul was one. I never said terrible sinners can't be converted. You have twice now made assumptions that I never made or spoke.

I feel bad we have imported unhealthy western concepts to the poor Greeks of Albania
🇦🇱 Meanwhile, members of Albania's Communist Party celebrated the birthday of Enver Hoxha. They also expressed support for the student protests, saying they wish Hoxha were still alive to lead the country.

By not reposting videos of people dying for one (snarky comment) and also not taking chance accidents to be providential. God rest his soul.
What are we to make of this, as Catholics?

Maybe we need to start trash talking interfaith ministries though. I’m not going to lie, besides the Methodists doing blood drives with us and fund raising for homeless what worth is an interfaith Bible study
I’ve attended at least a thousand Masses, and I have never, not once, heard a priest trash Protestants. Not once. I wonder how many Protestants or evangelicals can honestly say the same about what they hear regarding the Catholic Church during their Sunday services.

There obviously is a great example of virtue and womanhood in the Mother of our Lord and she maintains a place of great honor, however, we have such a panoply of great female Saints (old and new) that it feels amiss to only focus on one
i cannot be the only woman who finds mary completely uninteresting why is this every bible study can we please talk about anything else
