Thanks for all the questions. This has been fun.
Just a reminder that this tour kicks off next week. @AbePartridge is one of my favourite songwriters... and I'm no slouch in that department either.
Not a lot of tickets left across these shows.

It’s just great to have @ChuckProphet back in the UK. The band was on fire at @Nath_Brudenell last night. Looking forward to @thecluny at the weekend
What an incredible career and legacy, including those 🔥 bass parts on John Martyn’s Grace and Danger.

Last time I saw this many capes, I was a kid playing hide and seek in my dads wardrobe. @GrumpyOldRick #KingCharles #Coronation
Agree, I sense a twitter light has been shone on bad things but not so much on good things. Many LAs are actually becoming more empowered for the good on nature issues, but (like climate change initiatives), not everyone like this.
The image of public sector environmentalists has gone very quickly from hard left greenies trying to stop economic development and house building to the actual perpetrators of attacks on nature. Maybe worth thinking about why that has happened. Twitter, eh?
In day to day business, council tree officers are more often criticised for being over protective of trees (TPOs etc) where residents and developers want them gone.
Obvs I can’t speak for your experience but it’s also hard to argue that someone who grows up with a passion for nature, gets a training/degree in ecology or similar and then dedicates a lifelong career to this passion hates trees.
This, of course, is not true. Most local authority employees are relatively low paid professionals with a public service mentality working in difficult circumstances and with diminishing budgets. This is particularly true of ecologists and environmentalists.
