#Breaking: @FCPSKY board votes to place Superintendent Dr. Demetrus Liggins on paid administrative leave pending review.
Dr. Bill Bradford selected to serve as interim superintendent, effective immediately. @LEX18News
The special @FCPSKY board meeting has begun and members immediately went into executive session.
At issue is the status of Superintendent Dr. Demetrius Liggins following an early Tuesday morning email in which he proposed discussing a potential separation package. @LEX18News
Liggins later withdrew that request in a subsequent email, saying that his initial request was misconstrued as a resignation.
Liggins also requested that tonight's meeting be cancelled. Board chair Tyler Murphy did not honor that request. @LEX18News
@LEX18News has obtained those emails. For more information and our reporting on this story, go to LEX18.com.

Another fantastic read by @tsnmike.
As excited as I am for #Illini Nation, I'm really happy that more people will get to hear about Keaton - a story that may be one of the coolest I've witnessed in my career. #FinalFour
The story of Keaton Wagler's recruitment to @IlliniMBB seems implausible in the internet age.
Now, so does the ending.
From 240th-ranked prospect to All-America to the #FinalFour in a year? We're supposed to believe this? Well, there's even MORE to it 👇

There was something extra in that dunk by Illinois center Zvonimir Ivisic against VCU that shook the arena in Greenville, SC Saturday night.
What was it?
And why did it effectively end the Illini-Rams game with nearly a full half to play? We got answers:

One of the great stories in college hoops & a really well-done article that is worth your time.
A 3-star who some said might redshirt may be an All-American and will definitely be a one-and-done #NBA lottery pick come June. And nearly every program whiffed on his recruitment.
Keaton Wagler’s meteoric rise isn’t a fluke.

Impressive, record-setting night for @Unrivaledwbb in Philly.
Great success story - going from a start-up to a major player in the span of a year. Bright future ahead.

Fun fact:
20 months ago, Kentucky had the longest tenured coaches in FB and hoops in the SEC.
Today, they're the 13th SEC school to have replaced both coaches this decade. Only Georgia's Kirby Smart, Tennessee's Rick Barnes, and Alabama's Nate Oats were not hired in the 20s.
