Soooo……the USA has sanctioned the International Criminal Court. The court that prosecutes people for war crimes, genocide, and crimes against humanity…… The USA says the court has overstepped by pursuing Americans and Israeli officials. The court says America is interfering with justice. Now this announcement came HOURS after former ICC judge Navi Pillay won the Nobel Peace Prize……but the sanctions were reportedly already being planned before she won. What I wanna know is……how do we demand accountability around the world then punish the court when that accountability gets close to us and our friends? 👀
