The Fairbairn kickoff bit is ridiculous at this point. Between the Seattle game and this one Frank Ross just isn’t getting his message across during crucial times. Combine this with the entire kickoff and punt return operation on both sides and it’s time to look at his status.

I'd have to hammer a monster ball. I hit 66 in practice before. So yeah, when my number's called, I'll be ready to go. If not, I'll run in with whatever. If we complete that pass and score a touchdown, we look like geniuses.'

Colts ran a play with 1:11 left from the Texans 45 and DeMeco Ryans waited til there was 29 seconds left to call a timeout. That looks so bad. Not taking the points looks worse.

DeMeco not taking the points earlier combined with his awful clock management late in the game made this game possible. Texans are 0-3 for the second consecutive season. DeMeco Ryans is now 3-9 in the first three weeks of the season in his career.
