You might have seen that @JeffBezos gave @DollyParton his $100 million Courage and Civility Prize. If you are wondering why, may I suggest you watch our documentary about her unprecedented, global philanthropic efforts.
The film - narrated by @danicamckellar - features original interviews with Dolly Parton and tells the story of her amazing Imagination Library. It is available for streaming on Prime, Google Play, Apple Video and for free on @Kanopy.
The film was directed and produced by @UTKnoxville journalism professor @ngeidner and crewed by staff and students from @UTJEM.
Needless to say, we are so incredibly proud to be associated - even in our very small way - with Dolly Parton and her Imagination Library. She is an inspiration to us all.
But seriously, I am so over the moon happy that @DollyParton won the Bezos prize. The $100 million dollars will be incredibly well used. From her first charity concert in Sevierville to now, Dolly has always been incredibly smart about her philanthropic work.
