Have to feel for Gravenberch don’t ya. The second yellow, which is the more likely yellow stopping an act. Is what we screamed for with the Newcastle 2nd and he got slaughtered for not doing it

How long is the stench of the “sham” going to corrode the meaning, worth, and very essence of the Premier League? Listening to commentary about Manchester City’s players matching the defiance of their ownership and triumphing in adversity. Listening to fans chorusing the names of the men running the club, wearing masks or displaying banners of their faces and jibing: “We’re Man City, we’ll cheat when we want.” Victory being framed as “a lovely moment,” a show of togetherness as though some grave injustice has been imposed on City, rather than their hierarchy being found by an independent commission to have orchestrated financial doping on an industrial scale. Their opponents and the rest of us wondering if any of this actually matters now and how much of it ever did? There can be no business as usual pretence. We need a full stop to the absurdity.

Chelsea fans did this in 2003 when Ambramovic brought them. Thought they were cunts then, just like these are cunts now
Manchester City end wave cash at the Liverpool fans at Anfield.

If a single person messes with the elections, they are going to be exposed and dragged out onto the street to be tar and feathered by the public and they will ruin their lives forever. We’re not fucking around.

Some reach to equate from City have done to a fictional F1 movie. And there is also F1 teams who have season results stripped due illegal cars…
I watched the F1 film with Brad Pitt the other day, and there’s a moment where his character asks to add something to the car that isn’t really in the rules. The FIA punishes it, but the team can still race with the earlier car. It made me think. In F1, the best teams live at the edge of the regulations. Sometimes the FIA allows what they’ve found, and sometimes it says that goes too far. Occasionally the rules are rewritten afterwards. Now, City. I’m not defending them. A commission found they entered into sham agreements and broke the spending limits. A sham is an arrangement that isn’t what it claims to be, so that’s a different thing from using a gap nobody had spotted. City deny it and will appeal. But I find it useful to ask/reflect on how people inside the club see it. From their point of view, PERHAPS they believe they were doing what elite competitors do: looking at the rules, finding the limits, challenging interpretations and moving faster than the regulatory system. From the outside, you might look at that and say, “That’s cheating.” From inside the organisation, they might say, “We found something nobody had thought of.” If you believe you’ve found a way to bring money in, more or less within the rules (and the commission said it was not in the rules and it was cheating), you might tell yourself you’re just being a sharp competitor. We are all asking “did City cheat?”. But I find this question interesting too: “how did City come to believe they weren’t?” And understanding a mindset, or trying to, isn’t excusing it.

We are a poorly coached team. All these penalties have absolutely hammered us…

Hear me out… and this is a bold strategy but have we considered not giving away a shit ton of penalties

The only season I’m gutted about is 18-19. And yes we won the Big one at the end and had a marvellous time in Madrid. However, 97 points, only 1 defeat and to miss out on the league to them, when all there signings were made on dodgy finances is a little galling

Everything they’ve done from the start has set them up for the period after 17-18, and the success they had after. The treble, the leagues all built on a tower of lies and corruption. The directors have committed fraud, and that will no doubt be investigated by the relevant

Authorities, and if that is proven then they won’t be allowed to be directors of UK businesses. There brazen bullshit from the beginning and the tweets about the “hardest working commercial team” was just as everyone knew them laughing at the league as the broke the rules.

So bloody proud of him. Been a tough season for him, with stretches of great golf and then some really tough moments. Had a target in January of being single figure golfer by the end of the year, and he’s done it.
3rd in the gross comp, and the winner in the nett comp. Behind his club team mate and England schools captain and also a county team mate.
