Yes, both procedures are a form of mutilation, and they are both forms of non-consensual genital alteration. The ethical issue applies to both. But the comparison stops here. Except in rare cases, a man can still experience a normal sex life.
Circumcision leaves the primary erectile and sensory structures of the penis intact. Excision directly amputates the primary female sexual and sensory organ to deliberately eliminate sexual sensation.
Circumcision is normally carried out in a sterile, medical environment. Little girls are excised on the kitchen table with crude instruments and no anaesthesia, which in turn frequently causes haemorrhage and severe infection.
In FGM type 3, labia majora and minora are cut and stitched together to leave a small opening for the passage of urine and menstrual blood. The resulting obstruction of bodily fluids causes recurring infections and diseases that can lead to infertility. During childbirth, the scar must be surgically opened to allow for delivery, which also frequently causes haemorrhage and can be dangerous for both the mother and the baby. Beyond these immediate risks, the girl will suffer lifelong complications, crippling pain and significant trauma.
Last but not least, circumcision is not carried out in an effort to suppress a male's sexual autonomy. The purpose of excision has always been to control female sexuality by suppressing sexual desire, enforcing chastity and to guarantee virginity. The woman's sexuality is subordinated to the expectations of husbands. There is simply no comparable social dimension to male circumcision.
And if your takeaway from all of this is still that I’m “astroturfing” or pushing some feminist conspiracy, then I genuinely don’t know what to tell you. The mutilation of millions of girls should not be hijacked and turned into a prop for gender-war nonsense. At some point, you need to climb out of the red-pill rabbit hole and engage with reality.

C'est une procédure voulue par les hommes pour "contrôler" le désir de femmes et les réduire en soumission. La femme ne peut plus être sujet de sa propre sexualité, avec ses propres désirs. Elle est réduite à été l'objet du désir de hommes, soumise à leur volonté.
Alors Messieurs, arrêtez de pleurnicher sur votre prépuce et de vous immiscer dans les débats sur l'excision pour tout ramener à vous. Si vous voulez débattre de la circoncision, faites-le, mais ailleurs.

And now that they're settled, it's time for the next phase: getting rid of the hosts. I'm seeing more and more posts where they urge the natives of a country to move out "if they're not happy".
It's out in the open, they're done pretending. "Oh but most muslims just want to integrate and live peacefully", remember this argument? We're past that stage now. They're confident, they're getting bolder - they have the numbers.
They want your land, and they want you out. And no one bats an eye? The message couldn't be clearer, so what is it gonna take?

Let's also gleefully ignore the fact that in a city like Geneva, over two thirds of the population is of foreign origin (either binationals or naturalised) and they mechanically voted against a limitation of the population. Same applies in other big cities. Never mind also that the liberal right made an alliance with the left because they prioritised blocking the SVP/UDC initiative over any other consideration.
