This morning, Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany's campaign barred two Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporters from entry to a campaign event, because the campaign didn't like the newspaper's coverage 👇🧵
This should not be acceptable!

Trying to understand how this story published with my byline last week while I was on my honeymoon. I did not write or review a word of it and it does not pull info from past reporting. Does cleveland.com think they just own my name now?

I’m sad to see layoffs happening this week at USA TODAY’s network of newspapers. Here at The Dispatch, we unionized this year so we have strong protections from layoffs. The union papers have been offered voluntary severance offers instead. None to a few may take it in Columbus. We’ll see.
I’m very glad we unionized and joined the @newsguild when we did. ❤️
