They are structural resets that dissolve the architecture upon which Democratic power was built. AI and automation break that transaction at its foundation by eliminating the need for large-scale low-skilled labor, which simultaneously reduces the Democratic voter base and makes the welfare state economically unsustainable. People Are Not Really Assessing Where We Are There is no part of this game where the old ways of doing things are going to survive. You are dealing with a class of people who are essentially cave dwellers who are just now encountering am entire new system of operational usage that upends everything needed for Democrats to take back any sort of control. Every structural reset that would allow them to compete under the new paradigm requires them to surrender the very tools that define their identity as a party, and they cannot do that because they do not know who they would be without those tools. The point of no return is not a political defeat; it is a civilizational shift, and the Democratic Party is the political manifestation of the old civilization. They are not losing an election.
