Russia attacks a Ukrainian powerplant, violating the energy ceasefire. Trump responds by threatening to cut Ukraine’s arms, not Russia. Ukraine says it’s ready to stop hitting refineries. Russia signals it isn’t. draw your own conclusions.

Kurt is a morally vacuous man. No time for morality for him. We are tired though of Kurt’s “white rage” and “white resentment” politics. Republicans are better than this.
We've tried your morals. Pass.

I would be surprised if Talarico pursued a case but not at all surprised if the healthcare facility did. These guys posted an edited clip to make it seem like the facility violated federal laws and gave sensitive patient info out to a random caller. That’s very serious stuff.
This is a textbook defamation case for both Talarico and the Lindner Center.

BREAKING: The diesel fuel Russia is now exporting to the United States at U.S. President Trump’s request may have originated in Iran, as Russian oil refineries are largely unable to produce diesel because of Ukrainian attacks. Russia has been importing most of the diesel it needs from Iran. In September, thousands of Iranian tanker trucks were spotted in various regions of Russia, including Ryazan, carrying Iranian diesel. Russia may be buying Iranian diesel and reselling it to the United States. If so, Trump’s attempt to lower U.S. energy prices and deceive American voters is putting money into the hands of Russia and Iran’s Islamic regime.

The person who faked the phone call about James Talarico claims he worked for the Trump campaign and now is "being onboarded" at DHS. Nick Sorter amplified it, knowing it was a lie. Elon Musk is letting this lie stand.

We currently see no signs from Russia that it wants to end the war. We see no basic steps toward de-escalation. Everyone is talking about diesel and forgetting about grain. In a month or two, everyone will start talking about an agricultural crisis. There won’t be enough food for countries across Africa, some Asian countries, and the Middle East, because we export millions of tons of grain to these very markets. And now Russia is blocking the sea. The United States isn’t feeling the effects of this, which is why the focus is only on energy. This is another challenge. It’s hunger. And it can affect many countries. And we need to think about everything and everyone, because we all live on this planet. We can prevent many different crises before they even begin and avert the challenges they bring. From remarks at the Warsaw Security Forum. (2)

The entire reason we have a trade deficit with Canada--which Trump says he wants to eliminate--is that we buy so much Canadian energy. Excluding energy, we run a surplus. So Trump can either import more Canadian diesel, or reduce our trade deficit. Not both
CANADA PM CARNEY’S OFFICE SAYS CARNEY SPOKE TO TRUMP AND THAT CANADA WILL MAXIMISE EXPORTS OF OIL AND DIESEL TO THE U.S., WITH OIL EXPORTS TO THE U.S. YIELDING OVER 1 MLN BARRELS OF DIESEL DAILY.

Wild to me that these guys' *stated case* is that they called a mental health facility and fed them false identities to get them to divulge patient information but no worries they're sure it was all legal. Get a better 3:42 am lawyer!
I was on the phone with one of my attorneys at literally 3:42 am ensuring we were committing no HIPAA violations. Get you an attorney like @realTJRoberts who answers the phone at 3 am 🤣

Somebody needs to make it a point to bankroll lawsuits against MAGA influencers and MAGA media. The Talarico op is proof of that. These people are a cognitive cancer, and nothing short of being sued will make them stop. There must be life and career destroying consequences for engaging in the behavior you see on a regular basis in right-wing media spaces. This screenshot isn’t a complete list of names. There are others. It would be a good place to start though.

Putin invited US negotiators @SteveWitkoff and @jaredkushner to Moscow a few weeks ago and while they were sitting across the table from him, Russia bombed the airport the negotiators were supposed to fly into in Ukraine hours later… forcing them to cut their trip to Ukraine short and take the train. Russia has agreed to a 72 hour aviation ceasefire during the visit and they broke it and faced zero consequences. Russia is 100% the aggressor. Blowing up the airport US negotiators were supposed to fly into should have been grounds for ending all negotiations. It’s totally insane.

Republicans used to stand up for freedom. Now it’s just Mike Pence and a few remnants of Reagan’s Grand Old Party. The rest follow Trump into Putin’s bloody embrace.
President Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Russian fuel amidst Putin’s ongoing and brutal attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine makes no sense and is a betrayal of the legacy and leadership of the late Senator Lindsey Graham. While Ukraine fights for its survival, Putin’s war machine continues to prosecute his terrorist war on civilian populations and innocent Ukrainians are dying every day. Now, Instead of implementing the tough sanctions Lindsey Graham fought to his last breath to enact, President Trump has announced the United States is lifting sanctions on Russian energy, fueling the Putin’s war machine. As I saw firsthand in Ukraine last month, Putin is losing this war. Ukraine has fought the Russian military to a standstill and reinvented warfare with drones taking the fight into the heart of Russia. America should not be throwing a lifeline to Putin’s war machine. Now is the time to stand strong against Russian aggression as we did during the first Trump administration. Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants Ukraine. I have no doubt that if Putin overruns Ukraine, it will only be a matter of time until Russia’s military crosses a border that our troops will have to deal with him. America is the Leader of the Free World. For our National Security, for the security of our Allies in Europe including Ukraine, President Trump should rescind this deal immediately and return to the strong policies of our four years in the White House; impose harsh sanctions on any nation purchasing Russian energy and work with our allies to ensure Ukraine has the military support it needs to repel and defeat this Russian invasion once and for all. 🔥 BREAKING The Financial Times reports the Trump administration spent the weekend calling European capitals with a demand: stop sending weapons to Ukraine. Not a request. A demand. American officials are now actively working to cut off the supply lines keeping Ukraine in the fight. The administration claims to want peace while threatening the countries that enable Ukraine's survival, abandoning neutrality and negotiation altogether. This is Washington running interference for Moscow while pretending to broker a deal. The mask is off. It has been off.

I ran FoxNews.com for a decade, and this pains me to write. Kimberly Guilfoyle, former Fox employee and (as of today) ambassador to Greece, is in the midst of a serious scandal. If true, she faces not only the likelihood of removal -- something she herself acknowledged -- but also the distinct possibility of prison. Fox has 0 reporting online about this. The most recent article at Fox mentioning her is dated December 10, 2024 ... the day Trump announced her nomination as ambassador. Fox's sister company -- the WSJ -- has done a great job leading the reporting on this. The allegations are substantive, sourced, and paint a picture of a U.S. diplomat wallowing like a pig in a trough. The network has served America well, and I have defended it against hyperbolic charges for nearly 30 years. And to be clear, this isn't a simple "mistake" by Fox. It's not a biased headline or muddled article. It's a conscious choice to ignore a major story that has been reported worldwide by every major news outlet. President Trump has spoken about it, as has VP Vance and Marco Rubio. It's journalistic malpractice. I don't have knowledge of the details of Fox's action, yet I doubt that there's been an order from up top to ignore it. I suspect it's instead a product of fear and inaction by middle management. Whatever the reason, though, it's an increasing pattern I've seen at the network. To those of you at Fox with any power -- from Lachlan on down -- know that things like this only harm the company's reputation. Not among your enemies, who will hate you no matter what, but among your supporters, like me, who get pained when the hyperbolic attacks turn out to be true.

Here’s the real question: Why don’t you turn on Starlink over Russia so the Ukrainians can take out Russian ballistic missile launchers? One small action and you immediately save children from dying every day. Refusing to do so is like watching your friend die while you hold his EpiPen over him. It’s that simple.
