It was clearly one of the harder nuts to crack, given the technical complexity of the Fire Gang scene (with the puppets filmed against black velvet, and the sequence workshopped over many iterations).

With that said, 'Magic Dance’ has some interesting annotations on delivery (so “what could I do” had “fun” written in the margin).

‘All in All’ seems well-aligned with the more didactic early drafts of the ‘Labyrinth’ script, which was written by Terry Jones to present Jareth as a more straightforwardly manipulative trickster hiding beneath a façade of physical beauty.

I had a fascinating visit to the study room at the David Bowie Centre at V&A East today, where I requested all their papers relating to Jim Henson’s 'Labyrinth'. I made one particularly exciting discovery: two completely ‘new’ songs Bowie wrote for the film.

Am presently in Venice and was struck by how much these faces reminded me of the False Alarms in Labyrinth!

Have to share the incredible loo signage at the Clapham Grand for its Labyrinth screening. Legendary.
Had the best time @TheClaphamGrand watching an interactive screening of LABYRINTH with friends - it's still the movie I have the purest affection for, and it was amazing to have my enthusiasm matched by the crowd.

Had some friends over today and we played the #Labyrinth board game by @RiverHorseGames - it was a lot of fun! It does a great job at capturing the film's values and feel with the game mechanics. If you like board games and love Labyrinth, it's a must-play.

The upcoming David Bowie film, 'Stardust', looks pretty damn cringe. Johnny Flynn, who's playing Bowie, is a great singer and actor, but the producers should have abandoned the project as soon as they were denied permission to use Bowie's music. youtube.com/watch?v=U82heDab…

I just watched the #Eurovision movie on Netflix, and have to say that Dan Stevens would make a great Goblin King successor - he can sing, he can stare intensely, and he can dance ridiculously and without shame. He's also good at looking attractive near chandeliers.
