Yes @SenatorHeinrich tell us again how weakening the permitting process for Data Centers is helping us? How is limiting community input helping us? You think “only you know what is best for New Mexicans/Americans” is good. I do not. #ServingCorporation #OutOfTouch #NewMexicoForSale

As you watch Elon Musk burn through 300 million dollars plus in these midterms, like it’s nothing (it is nothing to him!), on candidates who are crooks like Ken Paxton, remember the case for a wealth tax.

Posey Meadows in San Marco, TX deserves to lose a lot of business over this one. Refusing to issue a $16k refund with over 6 months notice after her fiancé died. #Greed @MeadowsPosey

It’s so silly that all of Congress pretends this is true

Solidarity to our staff union family at @seiu_uhw who voted down management’s comprehensive proposal and voted to authorize a strike to win wages that keep up with the cost of living and real AI protections. Staff union workers are workers too!

Palantir billionaire Joe Lonsdale, who wants to bring back public executions, is trying to make homelessness a crime via his Cicero Institute. Cicero's policies call for arresting homeless people, and subjecting them to detention camps and unpaid labor. matternews.org/voices/the-bi…

Unionized staff at @SEIU & SEIU Benefit Funds voted down the “last, best, final” offer & voted to authorize a strike because too many of us have been forced to work multiple jobs to make ends meet in the DC area. We took action at #SEIU HQ to show @SEIUPres we’re not backing down

Massive rebellions have been raging across Europe, and racists like JD Vance want to spin lies that these are because European countries have "imported" too many refugees and immigrants. That's bullshit. Workers and youth in France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and beyond are rebelling against the same declining standard of living we see here in the U.S. - schools are under-funded, housing is unaffordable, social services are being gutted, and people can see that the capitalist system we live under fundamentally can't address our basic needs. These lies by people like JD Vance and Donald Trump reveal something about our ruling class though: they can see the writing on the wall, and are very afraid of what might happen if the people of the U.S. looked at the situation in Europe and started getting ideas of our own.

You got caught.
We strongly disagree with the Beacon Coalition’s endorsement of Rogers. We had no knowledge of these plans and are not funding this work. We have been clear since the end of the Democratic primary and said it repeatedly: we believe El-Sayed must win this race because Donald Trump cannot have another rubber stamp in the Senate. Third Way stands united behind our Senate Democratic nominees. A Democratic Senate majority is an essential check on Trump, and we are counting on El-Sayed to hand Mike Rogers his second defeat.

Macron’s empty speech did nothing to quell the uprising in France. After a record mobilization of 700,000 protesters the Yellow Vest movement has announced Act II of its revolution this Saturday, October 24th. Workers of the world, rise up. The time for revolution is now!

Imagine being the President of France and never having heard of the French Revolution.

This is such an important article to read. I’ve copied the key points here: For the first time on record, major international public financial institutions are providing more financing for clean energy around the world than for fossil fuels. The level of clean energy financing, the group said, is still far below what is needed to limit global warming to 1.5°C above preindustrial levels, a threshold beyond which the risks of devastating climate impacts increase. That’s largely thanks to four main culprits. Canada, Japan, the United States, and Italy accounted for around 75% of fossil fuel financing from G20 countries during this period. The data from 2025, the first year of President Donald Trump’s second term, is particularly striking. That year, the US provided nearly $8 billion in financing for fossil fuel projects compared with just $2.5 million for clean energy—roughly 3,200 times as much. “We are running out of time,” she said. “Without a fossil fuel phaseout and public finance being redirected to drive a just energy transition, we will continue to see escalating climate disasters that come at a huge human and economic cost, such as the deadly glacial flood disaster in Nepal.”
