The reason people keep doing it is because its free, if you had to put money down & it was refunded when you got waitlisted, NOBODY would do this shit (except a couple people) It would be way less of an issue and a bunch more people would like to have the frame.

I don't often crash out on things but yesterday when people got their Steam Frame reservations, I was inconsolably furious! 😠 I'm Canadian, and I got put on the waitlist instead of reservation queue. The amount of people I got DMs from saying that they got in the queue and don't plan on using it is crazy. 😭 My INDEX is falling apart, my cable is broken, and my Knuckles both have drift; this was going to be my fix. I have been an advocate for the Frame since day one, and even those who told me "just buy a QUEST Pro lol" or "the frame is such a downgrade lol" applied and got their reservations and I didn't. 😐 IF IT'S SO BAD; WHY THE FUCK DID YOU APPLY THEN? I get that it's a lottery, and completely random; but this just feels like insult to injury, man. 💀 I NEED the Frame! It's night-to-day for me. I've had some of them offer to give me their reservation; but paying USD instead of CAD for the headset, the shipping fees, and import/duties would just increase the price to as if it was or well beyond the 1TB version price in CAD. I can't wait until 2027 for my Frame order... PLEASE, if you don't ACTUALLY plan on ordering the Frame; DON'T APPLY FOR THE LIST - HOLY SHIT! 😩 I'm in shambles.

Arcturus industries is making a hardware accessory named "Arcturus Vision Camera". Designed to replace the Steam frames camera it brings up to 5K 60fps or 2.4K 120fps of clear room view to SteamVR (with more support coming with software updates)
