Congratulations to the Venter Lab's newest PhD candidate and RTP scholarship recipient Yu Wang. Yu will work with our team to identify and characterise antimicrobial resistance mechanisms on dangerous pathogenic bacteria. We look forward to sharing Yu's findings in the future.

Big week for the students in the Venter lab. Congratulations to Kelly Foo for giving a terrific final Honours talk about her work this year on the repurposing of drugs as bacterial FtsZ inhibitors. Kelly has done an exceptional job throughout the year. Well done!
