It's May 4th! Today is a great reminder of how science can be a force for social good. We need candidates to think about #SciPol issues so that we can find solutions to society's most pressing problems. (1/3) #MayThe4thBeWithYou #Force4Science #ScienceOnTheBallot

Happy #EarthDay! Did you know that when @SciDebate was founded in 2007, neither presidential candidate would discuss #ClimateChange? Can you help us get more candidates talking about #ScienceOnTheBallot? Donate to @SciPolNetwork: ow.ly/pU2B50NPseL xitter.cf/SciDebate/status/11694…
What is coming for our planet in 2024? What will your candidates do about the most pressing issues facing our society?

In 2007 when our team began talking about the need for a science debate, no presidential candidate would even mention #climate in forums & debates. We’ve come a very *long* way in a very short time!

"@SciDebate has decided to merge with @SciPolNetwork to become more than the debate. They are invested in keeping Science on the Ballot and shaping our collective future." Donate to NSPN to support #ScienceOnTheBallot (formerly #SciDebate): ow.ly/hrij50NBgtY
Quote: Aided at first by Science Debate co–founder Sheril Kirshenbaum, the NSPN began organizing science advocacy chapters across the country to develop science questions to ask their local candidates at all levels. In 2022 NSPN had helped create 54 state chapters and got responses from 71 candidates. As a result of this collaboration, Science Debate has decided to merge with NSPN to become more than the debate.
