Anyone who knows Mauricio knows how well deserved this award is. We are so lucky to have him as our director!
Meet Maddy (@M_Doucette_ )! She is a 1st-year PhD student in our lab. She completed her MSc in the Cortex Lab at @uvic and her BSc Honours at @UNBC. Her research interests involve studying the role of concussions, sport, physical activity, and sex hormones on executive functions.
Meet Justin Bonnieux! He is an undergraduate psychology student at @uvic involved with the CORTEX lab on projects seeking to (a) better understand the effects of psilocybin on cognition and (b) optimize the selection of Executive Function tests in research and clinical settings.
Meet Chloe Jensen, a 4th year BSN student at @uvic and research assistant in our lab! She is seeking to specialize in geriatric mental health. In regard to executive functions, she enjoys learning how they translate into her clients' activities of daily living.
Meet Nin, a fifth-year honours student in psychology at @uvic. His honours' thesis evaluates the latent structure of executive functions in remote settings. His research will provide novel evidence for remote assessments of executive functions.
