Media are largely silent on this topic.
Nobody mentions it in political debates.
Millions of lives worldwide are being affected by brutal cuts in international aid.
Soon we will see more people die unnecessarily, children go hungry, and many move on, desperately seeking help.

Congratulations on the excellent work on bone post-arterial capillaries (Type R) 😍, study which will become for sure a landmark paper in the field 👏👏👏
Bone remodeling is traditionally driven by osteoblasts and osteoclasts, but our study reveals a third essential player: "Type R capillaries".
Excited to share my PhD work from @ralfhadams lab, now published in @NatureCellBio.

The developers of the truly revolutionary approach to protein structure prediction #AlphaFold2 get the 2024 #NobelPrize. Congratulations!
The 2024 #NobelPrize laureates in chemistry Demis Hassabis and John Jumper have successfully utilised artificial intelligence to predict the structure of almost all known proteins.
In 2020, Hassabis and Jumper presented an AI model called AlphaFold2. With its help, they have been able to predict the structure of virtually all the 200 million proteins that researchers have identified. Since their breakthrough, AlphaFold2 has been used by more than two million people from 190 countries. Among a myriad of scientific applications, researchers can now better understand antibiotic resistance and create images of enzymes that can decompose plastic.
