The Trump Administration is reportedly offering Flávio Bolsonaro refuge in the United States, despite investigations in Brazil into alleged corruption, money laundering, and foreign-exchange violations, as well as an order requiring him to surrender his passports.
Congress must demand a full explanation of the Administration’s involvement in helping Bolsonaro leave Brazil in possible violation of Brazilian law. The American people deserve transparency and accountability.
