Got the opportunity to close out the game against the #16 team in Florida Stoneman Douglas. Threw 1 inning with 0 runs allowed. Walked one and gave up a hit but got out of it with no damage. Curveball was working extremely well with a lot of movement. @MSA_baseball @JBC_Baseball

Cafferillo came in to close making quick work of the inning, striking out the side. FB worked all parts of the plate. Showed ability to land SL for strikes.

Wrapped up the summer with a final pen session with @DCafferillo. Can’t wait for my senior season with @MSA_baseball to begin!
Started our first game of bracket play in Cincinnati today. Went 5 IP with 9 Ks, 3 H, and 2 ER to pick up the win. Great way to end my last summer ball tournament!

I had two productive outings this past weekend, throwing a combined 2.1 innings with 0H and 4Ks. Excited to get after it at LakePoint this upcoming week in the PBR 17U National Championship.

Lorenzo Cafferillo (‘26,VA) • RHP that delivers from a 3/4 slot, making it difficult to pick up. Has been up to 81 with the unconventional FB slot and has dropped his slot even lower at times. Pairs the FB with a devastating SL in the lower 70s for @RichmondBraves #uncommitted #DMVOpen
