ALT A city street at night. The shops are shuttered, and there is a fire on the ground in front of one of them. In the foreground, a figure dressed in dark clothes appears to be running. Others stand in the background. Beneath the image is a subtitle that reads "It is not a story with a clear beginning and end."
ALT Still from Fel gwacter. Gestural strokes in black pencil are layered over a close-up photograph of three faces facing each other.
ALT A portrait of Benjamin Cook, a white man wearing a navy shirt and jacket, gazing toward the lower right corner of the frame. Warm sunlight illuminates the side of his face

ALT Sarah Forrest, 'April' (2018). Courtesy of LUX and the artist. Commissioned by LUX Scotland as part of the Margaret Tait Award. A video still shows two pale yellow stems in the foreground against a crisp clear blue sky and brown rocky horizon.
ALT A lone facade of a house with crumbling wooden tiles and a green door, slightly tilted to the left, stands against a vast, empty yellow field under a clear blue sky.
ALT A detail of a painting. A soldier, dressed in a red coat, dark green kilt, sporran and boots, is pictured mid fall while being thrown headfirst backwards down a steep slope, one hand is raised above his head, the other, tangled in the strap of his rifle, grasps at a tuft of grass. His face wears a shocked and deathly expression. A pith helmet caught mid air flying to the left.

ALT A brown-skinned person with a bare torso stands facing the camera, but looking to the side. They are in a studio with a purple background and a cloud of smoke behind them. A camera display screen is in the foreground but out of focus.
