Since October 2023, antisemitic incidents in the U.S. and across the West have hit levels not seen in decades, harassment, campus exclusion, vandalism, assaults, and killings.
Jews are a tiny share of the population, yet they are the ones told to keep their heads down, skip the rally, take the mezuzah off the door. The ones speaking against that are the smaller group, and they are the ones who catch the cost.
That is usually how it looks when the crowd has decided a minority can be hated in public. The people who object pay, the people who join in do not.
The White Rose were a handful of Munich students and a professor who refused to stay quiet. In 1942–43 Hans and Sophie Scholl, Christoph Probst, Alexander Schmorell, Willi Graf, and Kurt Huber printed leaflets naming the Nazi regime’s crimes, including the mass murder of Jews, and calling on Germans to resist.
Most of the country looked away. On 18 February 1943 the Scholls were caught scattering leaflets at the university. Four days later Hans, Sophie, and Probst were tried and guillotined. The others followed. Sophie was 21. Their line still stands: “We will not be silent. We are your bad conscience.”
Being outnumbered is not proof you are right. But when the safe position is silence about the targeting of Jews, and the risky one is to say it plainly, the fear itself tells you who is actually exposed. The White Rose did not wait for permission from the majority. Neither should anyone else.
The BBC is only now reviewing the 53 people it called Gaza “journalists” after Hamas and others claimed them as their own. That review arrives after years of casualty numbers, genocide language, and a sharp rise in antisemitic attacks those reports helped shape. Hamas has always controlled what leaves Gaza and dual role media operatives were already documented. Source checks should have been day one policy, not a cleanup after the narrative was set. A late review doesn’t rewind the headlines, the protests, or the damage already done.
I will not vote for any candidate for any position that does not openly and firmly support Israel, and Ukraine. Not supporting one or the other means they are fundamentally opposed to the American values I believe in.
Wikipedia edit wars, where persistence, organized factions, and whoever lasts longest often decide what stays. Creating not an online Encyclopedia of knowledge but an ever changing narrative piece.
Makes me recall why the Founders rejected pure democracy. In Federalist 10, Madison defined a faction as a group united by passion or interest “adverse to the rights of other citizens, or to the permanent and aggregate interests of the community.” He argued a small direct democracy has no check on a majority faction.
They built a constitutional republic; representation, an extended sphere, separated powers, so raw numbers and the last loud voice would not automatically win.
The United States is both a constitutional republic and a representative democracy. The Founders were not rejecting popular government; they were rejecting unfiltered majority rule.
And in moments like now, I’m thankful.
The Jews have rarely been on the wrong side of history as a people yet their tormentors were. From the earliest pogroms through today’s attempt at dehumanizing Jews, the pattern is the same, when societies fracture, Jews become the convenient scapegoat, and the world grows darker for it.
In 38 CE, mobs in Alexandria slaughtered thousands of Jews amid accusations of disloyalty. During the First Crusade in 1096, Rhineland communities were massacred by crusading armies who treated Jews as Christ killers.
When the Black Death tore through Europe in 1348–1351, Jews were tortured into “confessing” they had poisoned wells; tens of thousands were burned.
The 1648 Khmelnytsky uprising in Ukraine destroyed hundreds of Jewish communities and killed tens of thousands.
After Tsar Alexander II was assassinated in 1881, by revolutionaries who were not Jewish, pogroms swept the Russian Empire. Officials and mobs blamed Jews anyway. Kishinev in 1903 saw 49 murdered and hundreds raped after a blood-libel rumor.
The forged Protocols of the Elders of Zion then spread the lie of a Jewish world conspiracy that Nazis later used as scripture.
Those same tropes,well-poisoning, ritual murder, secret cabals, dual loyalty, reappear whenever tyrants or extremists need someone to blame.
As a non-Jew I know which side I am on and will remain on. I’m not going against a people that has been the scapegoat for tyrants and extremists of every stripe throughout history.
My statement is full-throated and firm. If you’re on the side of Ms. Rachel’s Nazi Ideology, you can fuck off.
You were 17, trafficked, filmed with animals, then convicted for the act they forced on you. You get clean. You apply to the FBI.
Old rule. automatic DQ for “engagement in bestiality.” Victim status didn’t matter.
New rule. not automatic if it happened before 18.
Patel said the point is victims of trafficking, not willing offenders, and they still have to survive the full background.
NCMEC: 113,530 child sex-trafficking reports in 2025 (+323%). 1 in 7 missing kids reported there were likely trafficking victims.
This is not rare. In federal sex-trafficking cases, 54% of women charged showed clear victim indicators, prosecuted for illegal acts they were forced to commit
Your meme and jokes cut the victim out so the headline slaps harder. That’s not accountability. That’s ghoulish. Your gotcha, is asshole behavior.
If you’re at a community meeting about gang violence and someone stands up with a noose and a hood, and nobody kicks them out, that isn’t a community meeting. That’s a Klan rally that forgot to wear the robes.
Let me introduce you to Macklemore, the unapologetic face of the “I’m not antisemitic, I’m just anti-Zionist” crowd. After he turned Ed Sheeran’s stadium shows into political rallies, and got dropped from the tour, the people circling the wagons were not fringe. They are the movement.
Rep. Ro Khanna: “Admire your courage @macklemore!”
Roger Waters posted a video calling Sheeran a “little prick” and Macklemore one of the people who “do the right thing.”
xitter.cf/rogerwaters/status/210…
AOC told TMZ she was done with Sheeran and framed it as stadium owners silencing speech about “genocide in Gaza.”
Greta Thunberg: “Full solidarity and free Palestine.”
Kehlani: “Honored to know you brother. Adore you. Behind you.”
Gigi Hadid: “Macklemore we stand with you. Free Palestine.”
Pramila Jayapal thanked him for “speaking up” and called it a genocide.
When that is the roster defending him, you don’t get to pretend this is just “criticism of a government.” The community that rallies behind this guy spent a decade calling MAGA fascists while running the most openly fascist Nazi aligned ideology in the Western world right now.
The mask isn’t slipping. They took it off and the room clapped xitter.cf/RoKhanna/status/209959…
Is it good or bad that the antisemitism is going mask off? They’re not even trying to say it’s anti Zionism, Macklemore support has made that clear.
Apophenia: seeing a conspiracy in a pile of coincidences.
That’s the habit of treating unrelated or only loosely related facts as if they form a hidden design. The coincidences can be real. The meaning we bolt onto them usually isn’t.
Years ago the Presidents Lincoln/Kennedy list went everywhere. A lot of it was true, elected to Congress in ’46 and president in ’60, seven-letter names, shot on a Friday in the head with their wives there, succeeded by Johnsons born a century apart, assassins with three names and 15 letters, Ford theater / Ford Lincoln, and so on.
The real ones still stacked high enough that it felt like it had to mean something.
It didn’t.
That same habit is running at full volume now.
Real conspiracies exist. People lie. Agencies bury mistakes. States do dirty things. Those get established with documents, money trails, testimony, and motives that survive contact with the rest of the evidence. A long coincidence list is not that. In a world of millions of actors, dates, contractors, visas, stock trades, and news cycles, clusters are what you should expect. The more events you inspect, the more matches you will find. That is not a hidden design. That is sample size.
Occam’s razor still applies, even when the coincidences feel loud. Failure, rivalry, opportunism, incompetence, chance, and a pattern seeking brain after a shock explain more with less. It needs heavier evidence than a list.
Question official stories. Just don’t treat a stack of coincidences as if the stack itself were the case. Pattern seeking is human. Mistaking the pattern for the plot is how coincidence becomes a conspiracy theory.
The Clancy stans spent days repeating what the white female jurors said, the holdout was arrogant, wouldn’t follow the rules, and “couldn’t get past the fact she killed her kids.”
Then Gayle King finds out he’s Black and has to sit with it for a second. You can see the exact moment she realizes they all, including her, assumed it was some white guy they were allowed to dunk on.
Now the same people who sided with Clancy are stuck explaining why they were fine attacking a Black man based on the word of those jurors who spoke out, the left leaning white women.
Isn’t that ironic?

My memories of this morning, 25 years ago.
I was working out of town in the Cincinnati area.
I was in a work trailer with two coworkers, reviewing pipe-inspection video before we started the job. One guy had the radio on Howard Stern. I wasn’t paying attention. I wasn’t a fan.
He shoved my arm while I was marking spots on the footage. I got pissed, that equipment was touchy. He said a plane had hit a skyscraper in New York. I said yeah, that sucks, we’ve got work to do.
A few minutes later I heard someone on Stern say something like: a second one hit. This isn’t an accident. We’re being attacked.
We had work issue Motorola phones, the ones with the walkie-talkie button (remember those?). I walked out of the trailer, called our home office in central Pennsylvania, turned on my pickup radio, and started listening to the news. More planes. Talk of car bombs even.
After the Pentagon was hit, regular cell service was spotty or gone. The walkie function still worked. We got in the pickups and headed east.
I heard sonic booms as Air Force jets from somewhere near Cincinnati took to the skies.
A broadcaster said it was confirmed: a plane had crashed in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. My hometown. My family lived there. A rust-belt nothing city.
What the fuck.
I called everyone. No signal. No way to check on my family. Radio kept saying a plane was down in Johnstown. Rumors came fast and furious.
There were no police on the highways. I made the trip back in record time. I walkie talkied my PARNG company commander, the same man I worked with and answered to at drill.
It felt like loss. It felt like a war. And it was.
I’ll never forget that day. Or the lives we lost.
As we later learned, the fourth plane, United 93, went down in a field near Shanksville, Somerset County not in Johnstown itself. Johnstown was just the closest name on the map that morning and that was actually closer to my family. My lovable mom didn’t know anything had happened and when I finally talked to her she said “that’s why everyone was talking so weird in the store today” I was like mom turn on the TV.
My wife when I got hold of her was wanting to take our kids from school and asking if I was going to be activated. Her first concerns. Both valid.
We know 2,977 people were killed by Islamic terrorists 25 years ago today.
Who did we lose?
343 firefighters of the FDNY who ran into the burning towers to rescue those still inside , and were caught when the buildings came down. It remains the largest single-day loss of firefighters in American history.
72 law enforcement officers, including the worst one day loss of any police department in U.S. history
as officers from multiple agencies went toward the danger instead of away from it
8 EMTs and paramedics from private ambulance units, plus other first responders who never came home.
33 flight crew members who were doing their jobs on four ordinary morning flights when the cockpits were seized.
213 passengers who boarded planes bound for California and never arrived.
125 people at the Pentagon
55 members of the U.S. military
70 civilians who were at work in the building when American Airlines Flight 77 struck it.
And thousands of civilians in and around the World Trade Center who were just going about their morning: people commuting in for work, visitors, restaurant staff, messengers, traders, secretaries, window washers, hotel workers.
They came from more than 90 countries.
8 children woke up that morning and never came home.
More than 3,000 other children lost a parent that day.
Those were not just numbers. They were someone’s mother and father. Grandparents and siblings. Aunts and uncles. Someone’s child. Someone’s best friend. Someone who kissed a family goodbye that morning and expected to be home for dinner.
On this anniversary I will remember the people who lost their lives, and the ones who ran toward the fire for them.
Never forget.
Anthropic just dropped its most detailed Claude misuse report and this is just one AI company. AI isn’t going to go rogue and eliminate us, but this kind of stuff very well might. From bioweapons, to propaganda, to tracking, to ballistic missiles and more.
(Grok was used by me for the summary of reported incidents below)
China / PRC
• Moonshot: silently routed customer chats to Claude instead of Kimi (23M+)
• DeepSeek: same play, 12.1M exchanges in 14 days
• Also named: Zhipu, Xiaomi, SenseTime, MiniMax
• Security contractor: profiled Uyghurs in Syria for tracking/recruitment
• State/religious-affairs accounts: dossiers on Catholics, Tibetans, Falun Gong, Taiwan Christians; one request named private citizens for “control”
• PLA-linked team: electronic warfare / air-defense software, later pointed a simulation at Taiwan sites
• Hunan operators, including undergrads: ~50 orgs targeted
Unknown / unspecified foreign scientists
• Military institute: blocked gain-of-function request on chikungunya
• Separate case: planned mammalian-adaptation work on highly pathogenic avian flu
• Reseller case: orthopoxvirus immune-evasion grant drafted in ~1 hour
• Two toxin-redesign efforts described as state-backed
• 30-day sweep tied to adversarial states: ~35 research efforts, some dual-use
Iran
• Two units: 6,388 Iranians profiled in one year
• Large social-network scrape of opposition accounts
• Separate nexus actors: targeting of Israeli/Jewish-diaspora orgs and U.S. naval-related targeting research
• State-aligned propaganda shops running “cognitive warfare” content ops
Mali
• Bamako consultant, assessed as working for intel service ANSE
• Used Claude as the main engineering workforce for a platform meant to watch ~25 million SIM cards across 3 mobile operators
• Asked to generate dossiers without a warrant requirement
Russia / Russia-linked
• GTG-20006, consistent with Midnight Blizzard reporting
• 20+ targets incl. Ukrainian gov/military
• WhatsApp takeovers of former Ukrainian officials
• 300k+ national ID records + 500k company records stolen from a North African gov tech authority
• Influence op in Central African Republic: daily radio/Telegram content + forged government documents
• Freelance actor: autonomous FPV kamikaze drone swarm intended to pick targets, including people, with no human in the loop
• Separate actor: extortion ($1.5–2.5M) then tried hitting ~30 AI companies in 4 days
Yemen
• Northern cell used Claude on guidance/control software for:
• a guided rocket
• a multi-stage ballistic missile (stated range goal >2,000 km)
• a hypersonic glide variant
• Field test of the rocket failed. Accounts banned.
Criminal / commercial
• ShinyHunters-linked: 1.8M Android apps scanned, 1TB+ stolen, millions of payment cards, 2,100 cloud tokens dumped across dozens of companies in 34 hours
• China-based dating-app studio: 20+ apps, 4,700 AI personas, 25,000 people messaged, 2.36M messages in 2 weeks
• France-based LKM: 70 fake news sites, 8,913 articles
• Istanbul firm: ~1,000 fake accounts across 222 Malaysian constituencies
• UAE-directed network: ~300 inauthentic accounts aimed at Muslim Brotherhood / UN processes
Anthropic’s line: these are the worst cases, not normal use. They say they disrupted all of them.
The uncomfortable part is the demand is already here. Mid-tier generally available models were useful enough for espionage, population monitoring, weapons software, dual-use biology, and election influence.
How did we get into this inflation cycle and then act like we forgot how it works?
During COVID, Washington dumped trillions into the economy. Trump signed the first giant packages in 2020. Biden signed another $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan in 2021. Combined COVID relief ran about $5 trillion. The Fed kept rates near zero and bought trillions in bonds. M2 money supply jumped at the fastest pace in modern history around 25% at the peak.
That is not the whole story. Supply chains broke, the Fed accommodated it, and households and businesses ended up with a flood of cash chasing goods that were already scarce with excess printed dollars.
This is why purchasing power is the only wage that matters. If you make $1 an hour, bread is a nickel, and rent is $40, you can live. If you make $20 an hour, bread is $5, and rent is $2,000, you are poorer. Nominal raises that get eaten by prices are not a raise.
I have been a fiscal conservative for that reason. I have rarely voted Democrat not because every one of their social views is wrong, but because too many of their promises are paid for with deficits and more money in circulation. That is not compassion. That is a delayed tax collected through higher prices.
Now the same trick is coming from people who used to call themselves fiscal conservatives: campaign bribes dressed up as “free” money. We already ran that experiment. Inflation took the bribe back. It always does. You cannot print prosperity. You can only cheapen the dollar and then act surprised when rent, groceries, and insurance jump.
If a policy cannot be paid for without flooding the economy with more claims on the same goods, it is not a gift. It is a transfer from savers, wage earners, and anyone on a fixed income to whoever gets the money first. That is not sustainable. It never was.

What’s scarier for people. Trumps “fascism” of Muslims beheading blasphemous infidels?
South Park has that answer, they still have 5 episodes “hidden” they had to take down that had Muhammad in them, keep in mind they have Catholic priests fucking kids, Jesus being a loser, and about every other religion lampooned.
Now let’s see do they attack Trump in multiple, sometimes funny, and degrading ways?
Yes yes they did and do. So they’re able and willing to do that against an evil “fascist” but won’t and can’t against one single religion.
Yes we have a problem, and it’s not just what you want it to be.
Here’s why I feel we’re broken as a society in the United States.
Let’s do a hypothetical.
Iran launches ballistic missiles, sinks an American aircraft carrier, and kills thousands of U.S. service members.
Legitimate disagreement would sound like:
• “We shouldn’t have been there. This was a failure of foreign policy.”
• “Iran had the right to defend itself.”
That’s not what would happen. We all know it.
Day 1:
“Go Iran. Sink some more. Trump is the devil and now they can finish them off.”
Day 2:
“Stop the Iranian genocide. They didn’t even have the weapons to sink a carrier. This was staged so Trump could kill innocent Iranian children.”
A small, loud group will flood social media with hypocrisy, spin, and weasel words. They pull in people who don’t think it through. As long as that version of events spreads unchecked, we never get a grip on reality or common sense. They always have an answer to enrage the weak minded.
Happy Labor Day! A valuable day to also remember history.
Workers movements backed often parties that promised to abolish the boss class.
After the takeover, the party was the boss and usually a worse one, because you could not leave, bargain, or walk out.
Soviet Union, 1940: quitting a job without management permission became a crime (2–4 months in prison). Being more than 20 minutes late was treated as absenteeism and could mean six months of corrective labor with a pay cut. Official unions existed to push production, not to fight the state employer.
Cuba after 1959: the official labor congresses dropped the right to strike, extra leave, and other gains workers had already won. “Voluntary” unpaid work was expected. A 1971 law treated repeated absence as the “crime of loafing.”
Poland, 1981: workers built Solidarity, an actual independent union with 10 million members. The communist government answered with martial law, internment of leaders, and a ban on the union.
China: only the party run ACFTU is legal. Independent organizing is treated as a political threat. The right to strike was stripped from the constitution in 1982. The hukou system long kept rural migrants as a second class labor force in the cities.
The slogan was workers of the world, unite. The practice was: unite under one employer you are not allowed to oppose.
If Europe’s leaders had listened when people said uncontrolled immigration was straining cities, welfare systems, and social trust, the political landscape would look different today.
Instead they treated those concerns as illegitimate. The result is that anti-immigration parties, some of them more sympathetic to Moscow, are now gaining ground because voters rank order and borders above geopolitics.
People are not suddenly pro Putin. They are choosing the parties that address the issue they actually live with every day. That vacuum is now Ukraine’s problem too.
