I went to this drill site yesterday. The pipe got stuck as they tried to pull it through so they had to pull it back out again. Why do we let these companies get away with their reckless treatment of our waters and atmosphere? Stop the madness!

This afternoon CER caved to Trans Mountain on their last shortcut on safety. TM knew they would get the rubber stamp. They laid out and welded together 2.4 km of pipe of the unapproved size weeks ago, and then CER excluded the public from hearings today. xitter.cf/CER_REC/status/1745966…
The Commission of the #CER has approved Trans Mountain's variance application with conditions: ow.ly/WLFy50QqBxQ. The reasons for the decision will be released in the coming weeks. Trans Mountain can now use 30-inch pipe for the 2.3-km section near the Fraser River in B.C.

Use the pipeline for high voltage electric lines! BC's hydropower can be a storage battery for Alberta’s solar production. When sun is shining in AB it sends power west to fill BC hydro reservoirs & when the sun is not shining, BC sends power to AB. #TMXrecycled #Pipelinerefresh

This pipeline is already obsolete before it's even done. How else could we use the TMX pipeline?
