In all seriousness, when it comes to staff-student relationship policies, I really cannot believe we're stuck in such a rut of disregarding logical thinking. Is telling academics they must not date their students really *that* much of an infringement on freedom.
It’s local Election Day! Now that you have voted in the Exec Election it’s time to vote for your councillors.
I’ve voted have you?
Also did you know that the Treehouse in LSU is a polling station? 🌴🍻

@lborouniversity wins in the Facilities category at this year's #WUSCA awards. Thier outstanding facilities, including lecture halls, sports facilities, and libraries, contribute to academic success and improve student outcomes. #UKHE @loughboroughsu
Over the moon to be in London for the awards tonight’s with colleagues from @LoughboroughSU and @lborouniversity ! Very hopeful to bring home some trophies (particularly SU of the year 🤞🏻)

Some Loughborough landlords may be trying their best but not all of them are. We need to do better, Loughborough landlords do better!
This year I have had to deal with rats in the walls, extra electricity payments and now I have black mould in my bed.
I wish I could say this was a freak situation but it is just another day in student renting which I pay £160 a week for the pleasure of.
@Loc8meStudentAc when are you going to make your accommodations inhabitable.
@luhc @officestudents when are you going to make sure student properties are in a condition that I would class as the bare minimum
Had enough of candidates asking for your vote?
Head to one of our ballot stations in the library, James France & LSU to cast your vote & grab an ‘I’ve voted’ wristband to show you have made your voice heard!

It’s been a couple of years since our last Valentine’s Theme Evening (due to Covid) and it was certainly worth the wait! Lovely to catch up with Bakewellers new and past - I love how warm and inclusive @Robert_Bakewell is ❤️🖤🐻
