ABA Board Chairperson, Byron Menezes, today engaged the Board of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK) Benevolent Association on the mandate and operations of the Advocates Benevolent Association (ABA).
The engagement provided a platform for the two Associations to exchange experiences and share best practices in member welfare, financial sustainability and the long-term viability of benevolent associations.
The discussions are expected to inform peer learning, identify practices that could strengthen ABAโs operations, and explore potential areas of collaboration, ultimately contributing to more sustainable welfare programmes and improved service delivery to members. โ at Nairobi, Kenya
The Advocates' Benevolent Association (ABA) retweeted
I am deeply saddened by the passing of Mama CPD, Elizabeth Wanjiri. We served together on the @LawSocietyofKe where she co-convened the Gender Committee, and was a member of the CPD and Editorial Committees, among others.
A dedicated advocate and servant of the profession, she championed accessible online CPD trainings, free Certificates of Good Standing for fully paid-up members and the adoption of an e-journal.
Her commitment and service will be fondly remembered. My heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, colleagues and the entire legal fraternity. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
