For the @ajc: Braves star @MoneyyyMikeee has never hid his love for ATL. Walk-up songs by Gunna. Money Mike nickname. Sideways-hat swagger after wins. ATLIEN belt in his locker. The reason? He’s living out a childhood dream. On the Brave ATL raised: ajc.com/sports/2026/10/the-b…

After three years covering the Chargers, today was my last day. Starting next week, I’ll be covering the Sixers for ESPN. Excited to move back to my hometown for what could be a transformative year for the franchise.

My start date with the Clarion Ledger was on Oct. 1, 2023. My last day would be exactly three years later. I learned today that USA Today eliminated my position covering Mississippi HS sports. Calling it an honor would be an understatement. The people, players, coaches and fans welcomed me more than I can imagine. I sincerely thank you, Mississippi, for welcoming a young 22-year-old kid from New Mexico with open arms. All I wanted was a shot. The athletes across the state rank among the best in the country and rightfully deserve the coverage. Not sure what lies ahead, but I still want to give this a swing; you can reach me at [email protected].

It’s been stated a million times before, but it truly is a travesty that the Detroit Tigers didn’t manage to win a World Series during the Justin Verlander/Miguel Cabrera-led core.
Tomorrow, the curtain call.

Cade Cavalli knew he needed to "figure something out for my career" while rehabbing in 2025. Through his NeuX machine, improved nutrition and better monitoring of his workload, Cavalli is showing the promise the Nationals envisioned when they drafted him. thebanner.com/sports/nationa…

My issue is the former athletes take all the jobs there are no jobs left for brothers who actually went to journalism school and are trying to work their way up. The former players have the wealth to create their own platforms where a 25 year old northwestern may not.

Getting mad at Pablo Torre for doing his job in a time when people constantly claim they want to see real journalism is definitely something.
