As we continue to screen outside of the festival, we present ‘Gaza: Eyewitnesses’ on March 10th. This film is a collective effort by Palestinian artists to centre oral testimonies directly from Gaza.
The 50-minute screening at @SOAS Brunei Gallery explores the breadth of the human experience from desperation, irony, and the unbreakable will to survive. It features artists Salwa Nakkara, Hossam Al Madhoun, Ahmad Tobasi, and more.
Following the film, we’ll host a live Q&A with theatre writer and child protection specialist Hossam Al Madhoun, chaired by Jonathan Chadwick.

Once Upon a Time in Gaza by Tarzan and Arab Nasser. Two friends end up on different 'paths' from selling drugs and dealing with a corrupt cop 🫶🏾🇵🇸 #lpff2025 @LPFFOfficial
Thank you for coming, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
Thank You For Banking With Us by Director Laila Abbas (my first film of the festival 🙌🏾) This is a slick black comedy about two sisters trying to get access to their inheritance before their brother finds out and claims half #lpff2025 @LPFFOfficial
Thank you for joining us last night.
🎥 I’ve just watched the UK premiere of The Mission - a phenomenal documentary produced by Mike Lerner @roastbeeftv detailing Dr Tahir’s and his team’s extraordinary work in Gaza’s hospitals.
This is a must-watch. Nothing compares to seeing, first-hand, what Israel is prepared to do in its attempt to erase Palestinians from Gaza. The film captures the courage, the devastation, and the truth that too many still refuse to confront.
Watch it - Bear witness.

The @LPFFOfficial opened last week with a screening of the highly acclaimed 'The Voice of Hind Rajab'. Film critic and writer Hanna Flint spoke with the film's director Kaouther Ben Hania and actor Motaz Malhees about documenting the horrors of Israel's genocide in Gaza as it happened through six-year-old Hind's real life story 🎥
