Forgot the graphic last night. So we pivot here. Morning after game thoughts? -Castanga & the fourth line were buzzing -Cooley was sensational -Best pace of play on the season. Let us know your thoughts and keep an eye out for a new LOF later today!!! #Flames

Some quick post game thoughts #Flames

#Flames get a late third period goal and then hold on for a 3-2 win of the defending champions. Devin Cooley was sensational. What a preformance from the team tonight.

Very telling seeing Castanga out there protecting the lead in the final minutes here. #Flames

SCORES!!!! YEGOR finished the 3 on 2 with a snap on the water bottle. Beautiful from the #Flames its 3-2, 4:28 to play here. Canes showing signs of fatigue here a bit too.

What a PP. Puck movement was sensational, just hit a post rather than score. Great opportunity.

Pretty good game here through forty. Flames are hanging with the Hurricanes but that late second period goal could change things here. Credit the battle level on both sides. #Flames

Ooof. 3.0 on the clock and the Canes tie this game. Thats a backbreaking, defalting goal to give up. 2-2 end of 2. #Flames

SCORES!!!! Frost on the PP gets it to go and the #Flames have taken a 2-1 lead with just 20.3 left on the clock. That vision on the set up from Zayne is elite.

SCORES!!!! Finally Gridin finds his first. Its a 1-1 game. #Flames survived an onslot from the Canes and immediately find a way to tie it.

Carolinas fourth line breaks the ice. A scrambly shift ends in a 1-0 game.

What a save from Cooley. The way he was tracking that puck ok the PK was tremendous. #Flames

Not a bad period from the #Flames. They got chances just no finish yet. Canes pace of play was evident too. Fun hockey.

This pace of play Carolina brings is giving the Flames all kinda of trouble in all situations here.

Game Time. #Flames welcome in the Hurricanes. Lets have some fun here.
