These are the cheerful faces of the pupils who’ve just sung their hearts out, and haven’t let a big disappointment dampen their spirits!🎶 Thanks to the many parents, Old Oratorians & staff who came to support & joined in a final rousing chorus of #QuamBonumEst! #StateSchoolMusic
Thank you Fr Tim @handlt10 for letting us use the wonderful St James’s, Paddington at such short notice, and @georgedevoil for his stunning organ accompaniment!
We’ve managed to get singers from the Chamber Choir together for a concert at St James’s Sussex Gardens at 4.30pm TOMORROW (Sunday 21st July). We’re devastated not to be singing in sunny Spain following our doomed flight, but London will do just fine. Join us if you can! 🎶
We might not have made it to #Spain this summer, but WOW, what a resilient, good-humoured group of people this lot are! We’re gutted that our Chamber #ChoirTour can’t go ahead, but after 10 hours stuck at Gatwick today we’ve seen the best of these young people. #ProudTeacher
We are so sorry not to be able to sing at the magnificent @CatedralDburgos @catedralpalenci catedral #Valladolid - including Haydn Nelson Mass with pupil soloists, and hope we may be able to come another time

Flashback to 2020 and this delightful Junior House performance of the School Song, a paean to St Philip Neri. Happy Patronal Feast to all #Oratorians! Looking forward to celebrating the year’s successes @LondonOrat this morning. #QuamBonumEst #StPhilipNeri
Thanks to Mr. Saunders and Mr. Speakman for putting together this virtual rendition of Quam bonum est - sung by boys from the The London Oratory School Junior House during lockdown.
We’re looking forward to singing together again soon! @jaspeakman1 @dmterry75
All four London Oratory School organs busy after school today & there’s nowhere left to practise! 🎹 I think we might need a couple more… We have 23 organ pupils! @RCO_Updates @SchoolOrganists #StateSchoolMusic #Organist
A packed LOS theatre for the Szekely-Kondo Duo last night in a triumphant Beethoven Kreutzer Sonata & Franck Violin Sonata 🎹🎻 Beautifully poetic playing & stunning virtuosity. A treat for all the pupils/parents who supported to raise funds to refurbish this well-used space!
The climactic deluge of Stanford’s For Lo I Raise Up 🌊 What a tune! The Chamber Choir have loved learning this. New orchestration by Mr Speakman @CVS_society @jaspeakman1 #stateschoolmusic
