There’s a special kind of loneliness in knowing that the guy you’re secretly copying is probably secretly copying someone else.
We’re all just sophisticated monkeys in an infinite mirror room. 👣
CLARITY Act getting stalled is peak comedy.
60+ year old politicians who still think Web3 is a website update 🤝 banks running the same financial system crypto was built to escape.
deciding whether crypto should be allowed to thrive.
you literally cannot make this shit up.
When I asked you, @nfwdotfun , not to repeat the mistakes of your predecessors, I actually thought you'd learn from them.
Instead, you made a complete copy of FWA... and removed the token.
In FWA, the entire early game revolved around the token.
People spun the gacha knowing the EV was negative, but they accumulated ethereum:0xa0df17b5ac76ababa36e1450e2cbcd18a620c845 hoping its price would eventually offset their losses.
Depositors did the same - they were earning the token while providing liquidity.
That was the entire Ponzi-like feedback loop. The negative ROI was tolerable because the token had upside and could (and did) appreciate.
You kept the negative ROI and removed the only thing that made the model worth participating in.
Without a token, there's literally no reason to spin the gacha, even on day one.
It's just pure negative EV with no upside. @SOLsesame
This is what happens when founders believe they're smarter than everyone else and give insiders an unfair advantage.
$RIP is living up to its name. It's actually RIP. @stockripx
I can't stay silent about $RIP . @stockripx
I consider it a scam, and here's why.
It's a direct copy of the ethereum:0xa0df17b5ac76ababa36e1450e2cbcd18a620c845 project I wrote about earlier.
The only real difference is the branding. Instead of NFTs, they're now calling them "RWA assets."
Here's what happened on-chain.
A group of wallets started interacting with the protocol roughly five hours before StockRip even made its first public announcement. At the time, the token was sitting around a $50K market cap.
Meanwhile, everyone else didn't even know the project existed.
Timeline:
• Jul 27 - 15:37:58 UTC - first successful acquire
• 15:38:07 UTC - acquireBatch
• 15:39:21 UTC - acquisition results processed
• 15:40:16 UTC - first acceptBidAsTokens
• 15:40:17 UTC - another wallet immediately follows
The project's first public announcement wasn't posted until 22:02 UTC.
So while everyone else was learning that $RIP even existed, a group of wallets had already been interacting with the protocol for hours.
Do your own research.
Don't become someone else's exit liquidity.

Large ethereum:0xa0df17b5ac76ababa36e1450e2cbcd18a620c845 holders have already started selling.
Wallet 0xf1c27c1830efd7fc0aa7e8d90024684bc73a7f07 deployed a smart contract to interact with FWA four days before launch.
Within the first hour after launch, it farmed 32 million ethereum:0xa0df17b5ac76ababa36e1450e2cbcd18a620c845 .
It waited five days - then started selling.
And it's far from the only one.
Don't be exit liquidity for wallets like this.
ethereum:0xa0df17b5ac76ababa36e1450e2cbcd18a620c845 is just another pyramid-style project.
People were so starved for something that actually felt alive, something that brought excitement back to crypto, that they sent it straight into the stratosphere.
Like any pyramid-style system, timing is everything.
You either get in early, or you become someone else's exit liquidity.
Example: 0xf1c27c1830efd7fc0aa7e8d90024684bc73a7f07
• July 19, 14:50 - contract deployed.
• 6–8 minutes later - funded with 5 ETH.
• 37 minutes later - another operator wallet received 1 ETH for gas.
• July 20 - test transaction before launch.
• 22:01 - the bot started buying on virtually the first available block.
Over the next 40 minutes, it accumulated 31.84M ethereum:0xa0df17b5ac76ababa36e1450e2cbcd18a620c845 .
This wasn't luck.
It was a purpose-built launch sniper prepared before FWA went live.
It still hasn't sold a single token.
Today the risk profile is completely different.
The token is already sitting at roughly a $30M market cap.
The gacha itself returns only around 77% of what you put in, which is worse than many casino slots.
A simple example:
• Spin: 0.15 ETH
• NFT received: 0.06 ETH
• Choose the token payout and take another haircut
• End up with less than 0.05 ETH worth of ethereum:0xa0df17b5ac76ababa36e1450e2cbcd18a620c845.
To break even, you're betting that the token grows to roughly a $90M market cap.
Maybe it does.
Maybe I'm wrong.
But the lesson stays the same:
The people who made the real money were there before everyone else.
Everyone else is playing a completely different game.
I 100% agree with AR. Imagine you're a researcher who makes money by finding opportunities early. Now imagine there are several of you - you trust each other and share every alpha you find, which ends up increasing everyone's profits.
You can make $10,000/month.
There is alpha. There are opportunities.
If you have good liquidity and know how to play them, it's possible.
But how?
No single person can catch every opportunity alone. No one has access to all the alpha.
There are private circles.
Why am I specifically talking about circles?
Because I've observed this over the years.
People often think joining a private DAO through a subscription or a gated community is enough. They're great, and you'll definitely find good alpha there.
But from my experience, it's usually not as effective as being part of a trusted circle.
Why?
Because a circle is built on trust.
In the past, people shared alpha much more openly. Today, they're far more selective because many people abused that trust by leaking calls to other communities or using the information for their own benefit.
That's why valuable alpha is shared with only a handful of trusted people.
So how do you get into these circles?
It's not something new. They've existed since the early days of crypto.
A circle is simply a small group of people constantly hunting for opportunities together, whether it's NFTs, memecoins, airdrops, or other degen plays.
Don't get me wrong.
Being part of a DAO is valuable.
But being part of a trusted circle is often even more valuable.
And you don't get into those circles by paying a subscription.
You earn your place by building genuine relationships, proving your value, and gaining people's trust.

Don’t get caught watching again.
If you had any connection issues, they should be fixed now. I'm still learning, so I don't always notice the obvious things. Thanks to everyone who's been sharing feedback - it helps a lot!

Everyone is fighting over the same information.
I wanted to see it first.
So I built two real-time on-chain radars:

Fuck, this game is impossible to play, @Heistedxyz.
It took me 10 attempts just to buy the packs. Now I can't even start a single raid because the game keeps timing out.
I came here to have fun and spend money, but instead I got another terrible experience.
@infecteddotfun, maybe it's time to focus on building a stable product instead of chasing hype.
If my trading chart looks like this, am I sick? 😂
Crypto has broken people's brains so badly they can't enjoy anything anymore.
You could show someone a chart that's doubled, and they'd still find a reason it's about to collapse.
That's their trauma talking, and we've all been through so many brutal cycles that we expect the worst every single time.
Good news feels like a trap yet green feels like bait.
But there's a point where being permanently braced for pain starts costing you.
Peak misery has a bit of showing up near the bottom, never forget that.
Don't let the scars convince you its always over.
Everyone is fighting over the same information.

Both tools are 100% free.
They're built for people who enjoy exploring on-chain data.
I'm still actively improving them, so don't be surprised if you spot a few rough edges.

You mention Coinbase fighting for crypto and the recent legislation. I don't think anyone seriously denies that.
But wasn't the version of the bill Coinbase supported also the one that would benefit them the most?
Coinbase is a business. Base was ultimately built to generate profit. So why is it acceptable for them to pursue their own interests, while users doing exactly the same thing are suddenly labeled as a group that the ecosystem shouldn't be built around?
The people you're criticizing are usually the first to test products, provide liquidity, generate trading volume, and bring attention to new ecosystems. That's not a flaw - it's how almost every successful crypto ecosystem has been bootstrapped.
I can't think of many major ecosystems that reached meaningful adoption without early speculators and degens playing a key role.
The most inconsistent part of your post is the ending. You spend most of it dismissing this group, only to close by saying that Base will probably launch a token and those leaving now might miss out.
If that possibility doesn't matter, why use it as your closing argument?
What is crypto without degens?
I'll take the other side of Base debacle.
Most have no idea how hard Coinbase fought for crypto these past few years. We're on the footsteps of potentially the greatest bill for crypto EVER. It arguably would not exist with Coinbase.
The mercenary trenchers who are pissed about some profile pic are the exact people you should NOT optimize for. They're today's version of obnoxious airdrop farmers.
Funniest part of all this is that I'd guess Base launches a token at some point and everyone leaving Base today won't get rewarded - if that's what you're into.
Yes Base/CB has made some mistakes, all companies trying to do innovative things have.
But they will be just fine.
B20 was a great and bold move, especially compared to other L2s.
But the bigger picture still looks like this: Base has the strongest distribution advantage among Ethereum L2s thanks to Coinbase, plus some genuinely interesting infrastructure plays like B20. Yet it still hasn't delivered a product or category that has sparked a new wave of organic activity.
Builders today don't choose chains based on technical specs alone. They go where users, liquidity, and network effects already exist.
Base nailed onboarding. Beyond that, the ecosystem often feels less organic and alive than Solana's meme economy or even Arbitrum's DeFi ecosystem.
Jesse, you said it yourself - it's time to keep making bold bets. So far, though, the next big one after B20 hasn't really emerged.
Until we see that next breakout product, "constant innovation" feels more like a requirement for survival than a true competitive advantage.
Replying to @aaronjmars
think this is probably a shit post: but I don't believe any product or platform (base included) can do nothing and win
now that there's clear PMF for crypto (trading, payments, tokenization) and the great onboarding of all of the worlds money begun, we've entered the era where it's going to require constant innovation to just stay alive
it's up to base (and every other team) to make our product faster than every other chain and build distribution faster than offchain incumbents can leverage crypto to upgrade themselves
this requires making consistent, hard, good bets and being right enough that you can be better and grow faster than anyone else. the only guaranteed death is staying still.
yes we've made some imperfect bets in the last year, but I'd rather be taking shots, failing, learning and shooting again.
onwards 🫡
