But… OF COURSE They voted no.
A Conservative motion to cut every federal tax on diesel until Canada Day, and to build more Canadian fuel. Liberals, Bloc and NDP against. The same week diesel closed September at $2.64 a litre, a record, and the relief on the books is four cents a litre until the end of January.
This is not a war somewhere else. It is the litre in the truck that brings the food. They could have cut the bill. They kept it, and called the other side the problem.

What is wrong with Canadians? Either insanity or stupidly fits anyone preferring the Liberals. They prefer to smear Pierre rather than look at real facts. No budget in over a year. A $76 billion deficit. Carney talks about a US invasion to the NY Times rather than debating in Parliament. Housing builds and building permits are down after Carney promised a boom in home builds. Last week bad news from Brampton about the possible sale of Stalantis. Today Stelco in Hamilton announced 350 are being laid off indefinitely.
What will it take for these Carney lovers to face ŕeality. Canada is in deep economic trouble. The only ones to blame are the Trudeau and Carney governments. Not Trump. Not Pierre.
Tomorrow no booze will be going to the US. More job losses will probably happen.
