There is a story I've heard this image reminds of. A player bought a "Galley, large" thinking it was a portable kitchen or something. One time in session he realised his mistake, but tried to claim since it was on his character sheet he really did have a ship in the dungeon. The DM allowed this but obliged him to drop it right there and it became a feature of the dungeon other parties marvelled at!
