NFTs are “mostly” dead because:
1. Blur. Sure people say you can’t blame an exchange but it commoditized NFTs as FTs
2. Yuga. Totally deviated from the original formula into a gaming company since they raised too much money (and their games suck. All of them)
There is no real thing as the Ape community as demonstrated by the recent AIPs. Too hard with so many NFTs
3. Proof / Moonbirds. We’re supposed to be the adults in the space and bridging web 2 and 3. If they think Grails is an achievement - you didn’t need to raise millions for any of it. Truly worst execution
4. Azuki. Was supposed to be the come back kid. In reality they are like a kid that you adopt that will steal from you to do drugs and f your life
5. OpenSea. Truly the most tone deaf and idiotic participant that unfortunately is the leader. I hope a Robinhood of exchange without bs incentives come
Overall NFTs fail as 99% are not really non fungible. People list on floor or close to sell and they are happy to just pick another one hopefully cheaper.

The royalties for a song with 170,000,000 streams are sold via NFTs.
Justin Bieber's producer Axident is selling the royalties from Bieber's song "Company" as NFTs.
1% of the royalties are sold in the form of 2,000 NFTs.
One NFT is equal to 0.0005% of the streaming royalties.
The NFTs will be available for $28 each.
Royalties will be paid out every six months.
"Company" has 170 million streams on Spotify.
Approximately $0.004 USD is paid in royalties for each stream on Spotify.

9 months ago members of a Russian mob hacked my computer and stole $150,000 of digital assets
Today, a portion of that was returned to me by the security team at Binance
I was never expecting to sniff a penny of that money again
The Russian hackers were tracked for months, with money being seized bit by bit as they moved the funds around
I'm honestly moved to tears thinking about this
I've talked about it before, but that event changed my life
Horribly at first, then incredibly in the long term
The pain changed me
It strengthened me
It put me on a different path. A path I believe has gotten me closer to my goals
In a really weird way, I'm grateful for the event happening.
I don't think I accomplish as much as I have without facing that kind of pain.
In an ironic turn, I don't think I quit my job to start my business without losing all of that money 9 months ago
The universe has a funny way of working.
Sometimes it needs to take you to hell to get you closer to heaven.
