#BREAKING: A violent thunderstorm has triggered life-threatening flash flooding at Wye River on the Great Ocean Road, with videos posted to social media showing an SUV swept out to sea and parts of the BIG4 Holiday Park underwater.

The SES followed with a watch and act alert, warning that intense rainfall could rapidly inundate low-lying areas and cut off access to roads and campgrounds.
Residents and holiday-makers were told to move vehicles, avoid trees and check on neighbours.
