Don’t underestimate the power of a female strong team 💪🏼 I’ve had the pleasure of working with some awesome ladies around the world 👌🏼
Ag may still be a male dominated industry but some of the best performing herds I work with are managed by females….age range from 20’s to 60’s - anyone overlooking staff based on gender are missing out in a very big way!! #girlpower #teamdairy #topoperators #justsayin 😉👌🐄

The thread everyone needs to see right now 🥰
We’ve all been feeling a bit down recently and so my wife decided we were going on holiday. I was told that I was taking Tuesday and Wednesday off and she’s been working on a secret plan 🧵

It took me an hour and 4 YouTube videos to learn how to do this a few weeks back!🙄
Welp, our youngest of 4 girls got it figured out. 2” tubes like a pro. A little over 3 years old. Didn’t think I could retire at 39 yet here we are.

Let’s hope so 🙏🏼 ☔️ @JWForbes20 game changer??
Are historical weather patterns useful to predict future weather events? Or, with respect to rain is it false hope! The data below suggests that dry Mays tend to be followed by much wetter Junes. On average in the last decade June has had 20mm more rain than May.

So I reckon that most farmers keep some cheerful, threadbare animal tucked away round the back, away from the road - that they're slightly embarrassed by but they don't have the heart to sell, put down or get rid. Thread.

On our way to set up a sheep fence enjoying look at the countryside, to be ruined by a stray balloon stuck in a tree. Hate seeing this rubbish 😡

A friends Van was stolen from Tadcaster, #yorkshire last night. Reg YH62 TPO. Second time in 2 years, such a shame. 😒
Girls having a Brazilian before their holidays tomorrow. Excited to dry off our first big batch of spring calvers here, been on OAD for the last week. Cheers to @acable61 for the long term loan of the clippers 😜

Picked up the (hopefully) last autumn calf. We started on this new farm right in the middle of autumn calving - an absolute baptism of fire! But we’re on the other side and have learnt a LOT. Looking forward to breeding in 10 days time where I’ll be doing my first season of AI 😬
