VERY soon the number of captive bred lions in South Africa will out number wild lions on the continent of Africa.
Let that sink in.
13,356. That is the number of wild lions left in Africa according to our 2025 Synthesis. While others cite 20k, the reality on the ground is far bleaker. The UK MUST ban trophy imports NOW. 🦁📷 #BanTrophyHunting #LionAid #Conservation. lionaid.org/donate.php
