The weekend is slowly coming to a close and to help memory consolidation processes 😜, our participants made good use of the Magdeburg @Ottostadt culture scene at the "Kulturbrücke" festival on Saturday evening. Video by @petra_moce .
On Sunday, LIN students organised a #hiking trip into the nearby #Harz mountains to get a breather from all the previous week's course work. Meanwhile, the last of our organisers @obarnstedt got stuck in #Cologne due to @DB_Bahn trains... Credits: @MarosiEndre and Csilla Novak
The upcoming second week will focus on two-photon #imaging on treadmill and VR, computational analysis of calcium and behaviour data with special guests @Eric__Thomson and @TrackingActions, as well as optogenetic experiments. There's still much to learn! 🤓

Over the weekend, our last organiser @obarnstedt @DZNE will join us @PakanLab @SMikulovic @AttardoAlessio @_MaPr_ and @neuroadept, taking over the much revered post of Twitter liaison from @neuroadept
Peek-a-boo 😎 First week of #LINdoscope2023 @LIN_Magdeburg comes to a close today. We learn how to combine optical methods with optical methods from @SMikulovic and @RuyGomezOcadiz this morning 🤯
In the afternoon, we will learn how to perform cortical window surgery from @SMikulovic @LIN_Magdeburg and @PakanLab @DZNE_en 👩🔬 as well as miniscope pre-processing from @Eric__Thomson @FlatironInst and @neuroadept @UniCologne 🤓
On the fourth day of #LINdoscope2023 we will dive into structural imaging (spines! 🤩) with an intro lecture by our own @AttardoAlessio followed by an in-depth talk by @takaki_komiyama from @UCSDNeuro
In the afternoon, we'll learn cortical window surgery for 2P imaging with @PakanLab @DZNE_en and miniscope pre-processing with @neuroadept 🤯
Later in the day, we're also looking forward to learning about @mightexsystems' in vivo imaging systems and developments of ultrathin microendoscopes @DeepEn_imaging from @Leibniz_IPHT
