I’ve been thinking about how often we look for answers “outside”:
other people’s opinions,
internet,
socials,
chat gpt
I realized that I’m literally drowning in information,
while the amount of useful stuff
I actually get from it
is surprisingly low
also I’ve noticed how many great and useful ideas
my own brain comes up with
when I simply take a moment
to listen to myself
15 minutes of silence
just me and my thoughts
an idea turns into a plan,
the answer to a problem appears
(and it’s much closer and simpler than I expected),
projects become structured
I don’t know if it’s the Bali effect
or what hahaha
and I’m not talking about meditation, okay?
I mean
just put your phone/laptop away,
look at the sky/the sea/the garden
or close your eyes,
feel the wind on your skin
give yourself this time.
listen to yourself.
really listen.
and everything starts to make sense💛
