Mesut Özil has accused FIFA of double standards, questioning why it sanctioned Russian teams but has taken no similar action against Israeli teams over the genocide in Palestine.
“I hope that they will put the double standard aside.” @M10

Howard Gayle is a giant of LFC history and a pioneer for all the brilliant black footballers who built our football club into what it is today.
A really enjoyable interaction between him and Jeremie.

Jürgen Klopp on the loss of Diogo Jota:
“When I heard about Diogo’s accident, I was in shock and I couldn’t even speak. I didn’t ask how, I didn’t ask where; I just stopped what I was doing and tried to come to terms with it. To this day, I must admit, I still haven’t really managed to do that.
“I said yes, that I wanted to talk about Diogo, to think about him. However, now that we’re talking, I can see that I’m not ready for it.
“I’ve spent most of my life talking, but now I’m just hanging by a thread, lost for words.” 💔

And we’re not relegating our biggest club?!? That is Liverpool, Manchester United, for once I’ll even concede to an Arsenal or Chelsea.
