🇬🇲 Not at all surprised Omar Badjie won the Player of the Tournament at the U17 WAFU A.
He’s such a tricky player. Great technical ability, excellent in one vs one situations. Full of energy, and has a powerful shot.
Heard Liverpool and Bayern Munich were keeping a close eye on him.
🇬🇲 Gambia U17 winger Omar Badjie is someone to keep a very close eye on.
A small but quick and technically gifted player. He impressed me with his cameo against Sierra Leone in the U17 WAFU AFCON qualifiers.
Grabbed a nice assist and was a constant threat with his one vs one ability.
Some of his actions still need to be refined, but he's got an exciting base to work with.
Good movement off the ball, some good defensive tracking back as well.
A lot to like. He comes from Gambino Stars Academy, who recently sold Bara Sapoko Ndiaye to Bayern Munich.
