Thanks to our Cubs' hard work and success, the beard had to go. 😎 Summer is here and the beard is slowly making its comeback, but the memories (and photos!) will last a lot longer. Now we're wondering...what's the next challenge for our Pawsome principal? 🤔

🎉 The challenge was set. The goal was met. The beard must go! 😄 Congratulations to our Leesville Road Elementary students and staff for surpassing 85% proficiency on EOY testing! K-2 achieved 92.6% and grades 3-5 averaged 86.56%. We are so proud! 🐾💙💚

Tiny voices. Big encouragement. 💙🐾 Our younger students had a few important reminders for our EOG testers. Safe to say the pep talk squad understood the assignment. 🎥👏

What an amazing performance by our First in Fitness team yesterday! These athletes demonstrated incredible effort, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the competition. We are so proud of the way they represented our school and the PRIDE they brought to every event.

This weekend, Leesville welcomed families from our school and neighboring elementary schools for a special Family Academy. It was a fantastic day of learning, connection, and strengthening the home and school partnership that helps our students thrive.

Our Lost&Found is filling up and we would love to get these items back home where they belong. Please remind your child to stop by the breezeway and pick up anything that’s theirs. If you spot something you recognize, message your child’s teacher to help with getting it back.

Today we celebrate our incredible Academic Support Team! They fill many roles that support students and staff alike, helping everyone grow and succeed. We appreciate their adaptability, creativity, and dedication to our school community.💚💙🦁

Our Thanksgiving Food Drive is going strong! Many items collected, but we still need Food Lion gift cards in any amount so families can grab their favorites to add to the table. Thank you for helping us share gratitude and community this season!
