for a moment, hallyn hesitated to answer. she immediately knew what she wanted to say but she didn’t want to sound … desperate. still, the words seemed to slip from her.

“you could do a far better job?” hallyn questioned, genuinely curious but also wanting to tease her further. this time she was leaning in to take a closer look at her friend.
yeah. not her wisest decision … because now she couldn’t stop admiring how fucking gorgeous robin was.
