That’s nothing to do with the virtual YSF - that’s just lockdown 😂😂

As long as you have access to Facebook. The Northumbria CP opens on Saturday evening (meal stop) so anyone would have all day Saturday before marshalling duties would kick in 😊

Is it possible to walk it and do the checkpoint?

Look out for the virtual blues and twos 😂😂

Great idea to mark the month Julie. Looking forward to next weekend too when we virtually sneak over Offa’s Dyke and elude Border Force at the Severn Bridge and the A49 below Hereford.

Certificate for everyone no matter what the distance :-)
Halfway through the month, and there are some impressive mileages on our #Coronavirus100. Should be plenty of finishers at this rate!

May wouldn't be May without the LDWA 100. How about joining in the Virtual Y 100 Sir Fynwy this year :-) Open to all LDWA Members, even if you haven't walked 50 miles or are under 18! Join in the fun. Details: ldwa.org.uk/news/news_story.… To enter: ldwa.org.uk/news/news_story.… @LDWA1
Suffering withdrawal over the lack of a 100 this year? Never fear - Y 100 Sir Fynwy will still be taking place, albeit virtually. Here's your chance to take part in a LDWA 100 from the comfort of your own home! More to follow...

@LDWA1 100 mile challenge. We're to walk locally during lockdown. But, in the spirit of lockdown, if you're interested in a challenge in May, we record mileage we walk in 1hr every day. The idea is to reach 100 miles by the end of the month. Interested? Email [email protected]

Great idea 👍
A first for our 15th Festival! A medal for completing 25 miles over a minimum of 4 walks. This is to celebrate those people who are new to walking, who want to push themselves to walk more often or to increase the distance they walk. We would love to hear what you think...

You never know when you might need this 😕. So simple yet so effective.
Having this knowledge and confidence to use CPR can save a life. I know, it was used on me & saved mine last July. Don’t worry about broken ribs they heal. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🚑⚡️❤️🌻

I did some of the Witton Weavers Trail when I entered the @LDWA1 Red Rose 50 a few years ago. From the bits that I did, I'd say it's well worth exploring. Another cracker of a non-national trail on the only known UK long distance paths database.
1/4 Featured Footpath: Witton Weavers Way. 33 miles long, the way is a network of four circular routes linked together with further sections of trail to form a large loop to the west of Blackburn and Darwen.
