As part of the Fetakgomo-Tubatse Service Delivery Week, @LDPWRI and its entity, Roads Agency Limpopo (RAL), visited ongoing road infrastructure projects within the municipality.

Limpopo MEC for @LDPWRI, Ernest Rachoene leading #OperationTsogaMoshomi at the Matlala Cost-Centre in the Capricorn District. The initiative focuses on monitoring employee punctuality and promoting a culture of accountability among public servants.

This is a follow up visit to the cost centre and MEC Rachoene has expressed satisfaction on the improvements that have been made by the management of the centre. Management was previously implored to make the maintenance of the D19, Matlala Road a special priority.

The Limpopo Legislature's Joint Portfolio Committees on Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (COGHSTA); @LDPWRI; and Provincial Treasury concluded their two-day oversight visit to the Mopani and Vhembe District Municipalities today.

The visit formed part of the Legislature's oversight responsibility to monitor service delivery and assess the implementation and progress of key infrastructure projects across the two districts.

During the oversight programme, Members received a briefing from the Makuya Traditional Council on matters affecting local communities and development initiatives.

The delegation also conducted site inspections at the Manenu Traffic College and the Tshikota Community Residential Units (CRU) project to evaluate progress, identify implementation challenges, and assess the impact of these projects on surrounding communities.

The Committees further inspected the rehabilitation of the R522 and D4 road projects being implemented by Roads Agency Limpopo (RAL), leading to Elim.

The oversight sought to assess construction progress, ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards, and identify any obstacles that may hinder successful implementation.

The Committees welcomed the progress achieved on the road rehabilitation projects and reaffirmed government's commitment to delivering quality, sustainable road infrastructure that enhances connectivity,
