Small group of us looking forward to seeing @Phoenicianblind at @OneKewRoad tonight - expecting #jazzfusion aplenty.

I'm (@RobMallows) no longer organiser of this meetup, after having been so for just over sixteen years It's been a blast - but I'll stay on as a meetup host, as I'll still be going to #jazz gigs Ivy Kirk is taking over as organiser and - I hope - will take over this X account

Happy 70th birthday to Steve Marchant - Meetup member, #jazz super fan, patron to @Tom_Warriors and all round nice chap - with music from @GaryCrosbyBass1 band. Cheers, Steve!

I've now initiated the process on @Meetup to step down as organiser after sixteen years. Be interesting to see what happens, and who steps up to keep the group going. Which I hope someone does - London's jazz fans need supporting. #LondonJazz

News from me at the Meetup, as covered in @LondonJazzNews. I'm stepping down. It would be great if someone could take it over and keep it going It plays a very small, but important, part in encouraging people to engage with London's jazz scene londonjazznews.com/2024/07/1…

Oh dear. Very sad news. I recall a great Meetup with members at #LJF maybe around eight or so years ago, to see him perform at @BarbicanCentre. Also, the first jazz album I owned by was ‘As We Speak’ #jazzfusion

Enjoying the sounds of #jazz #guitar tyro @StanBruntGuitar and his quartet, playing all original stuff no less! Well worth giving him a listen! And scrumptious #penne too from the kitchen at @Karamel_London!!

We've put this @StanBruntGuitar gig at @Karamel_London next Thursday in our calendar. Members can sign up to join on the Meetup website. #jazzguitar meetup.com/london-jazz/event…

My review of last night's meetup at @TheForgeCamden to see Niels Lan Doky's Modern Standards Supergroup

Excellent meetup last night to see the Modern Standards Supergroup at @TheForgeCamden - led by Denmark's Niels Lan Doky ft. Jaco's boy Felix Pastorius, Ernie Watts and Harvey Mason. #Jazz version of Wonderwall, anyone?

Great stuff - I've purchased all of @AndyHourdakis albums, and looking forward to listening to his new cuts. #swedishjazz #jazz #jazzguitar
