Back to School time is very exciting and special to me. This is my 25th year in education. My first 2 days of school have already been filled with collaboration, lots of engagement, and pedagogy. Looking forward to an awesome school year.

What a “Good Friday” Event Planning/FCCLA teamed up to host an Easter Egg Hunt for our self-contained special education class. Everything was handmade by my class as a kind gesture leading into Easter weekend. Once again, very proud of my group. @JEFCOCareerTech @pghs_spartans

Food Truck Showdown went down today with my Foods and Nutrition Class. Can’t express how proud I am of my students. Their hard work and dedication truly paid off. Huge thank you to our amazing judges. @pghs_spartans @JEFCOCareerTech

In my FACS classes, many if not all of my Ss have never picked up a needle & thread. I told them we will be making pillows. They immediately shut down and said they couldn’t do that and it looked too complicated. Take a look at their results. @pghs_spartans @JEFCOCareerTech

Halloween Baking Competition - Some of my Ss have never cooked or baked anything before. I was very impressed with many of their treats. They made cupcakes, cookies, and chocolate covered Rice Krispie treats @pghs_spartans @JEFCOCareerTech

My Event Planning and Foods and Nutrition Classes celebrated the last day of Hispanic Heritage Month by making a few of their favorite dishes and treats we learned about during the month long celebration. @pghs_spartans @JEFCOCareerTech
