Continuing the “when in Rome” series, tried Haupia Pie @McDonaldsHawaii & the coconut custard filling was molten hot and outside nicely fried. (Side note, HI still serves fried apple pies too.) Winning on all counts.

Weekend over. Leaving my boy. Had great food (go to Dakar NOLA!) but most important, I reassured myself that he is happy and healthy, committed to preparing for the mission God had assigned for him.
