We had so much fun at PEI Pride today! Let’s keep working together to make this country more inclusive for our 2SLGBTQI+ relatives, friends, coworkers, and neighbours.

This is from a slightly right-leaning Winnipeg Free Press columnist. Pierre Poilievre is using vulnerable people as props to defend dangerous right-wing ideology, while opposing programs that are shown to help these same people. This is beyond disgraceful. It is dangerous.

It's beyond ridiculous when Pierre Poilievre proclaimed himself a defender of working people, especially since there is absolutely nothing in Poilievre’s 18-year record as MP that shows working class Canadians are his priority.

Shame on Jeremy Clarkson and shame on the Sun for publishing such vile, dangerous comments. This incident only proves Meghan Markle’s point. Our media is rife with racism and misogyny, of which this is just one example. How many people must suffer before things finally change?

Is it any wonder Meghan Markle is scared? It’s terrifying knowing there are men out there like Jeremy Clarkson who will openly admit to sitting up at night fantasising about violence against women - and think it’s perfectly acceptable. It’s not. And something needs to be done.

Only just catching up on the Jeremy Clarkson / Victoria Newton call to arms. Because that’s what it is. These are not just words. They are loaded with hate and ideas of how to vent that hate. Did we learn nothing after the death of Jo Cox? Has nothing changed? HOW IS THIS LEGAL

Jeremy Clarkson watched Meghan cry and and say "you're making people want to kill me. It’s not just a tabloid, it’s not just some story, you are making me scared".. And he still thought it was cool to incite violence on her. He proved her point.

It's not just Jeremy Clarkson at fault. It's the Sun newspaper, the Sun Editorial team, the climate of hate, the legitimising of it all by right wing media and some really dreadful human beings thinking this shit is ok. Blame Clarkson yes, but do not let the rest off the hook.

Remember, that Jeremy Clarkson article was not a slip of the tongue or a tweet written in a moment of madness. It was an article written, read and re-read. It was seen by multiple editors and copywriters. All of whom must have thought, “this is okay.” This is a *media* problem.

As Jeremy Clarkson should well know - words have consequences. The words in his piece are no joke - they’re dangerous and inexcusable. We are in an epidemic of violence against women and girls and men with powerful voices must do better than this. metro.co.uk/2022/12/17/jerem…

NO Jeremy Clarkson. Not on any level, in any circumstance, is it ok to write this stuff about any woman & absolutely NO to "everyone who's my age thinks the same" No no no. We absolutely do NOT think the same. Listen to the noise Jeremy. The crowds are chanting "shame on YOU"

Retweet if you think big media channels have a responsibility, when women are dying every three days from misogyny and male violence, not to legitimise and embolden abusive misogynistic views. ITV should fire Jeremy Clarkson.
